Jaylen Brown Says Lakers, Celtics Had Playoff-Type Atmosphere

The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics just don’t like each other.

That has been the case since the beginning of time.

Dating back to the Bill Russell days, these teams have had a lot of history, even when the Lakers were still in Minneapolis.

That’s why Jaylen Brown believes that even their regular-season matchups have a playoff-type atmosphere.

Following his team’s win over their lifelong rivals, the defending Finals MVP gushed about the environment and the vibes at TD Garden during the game:

“It felt like a playoff-type intensity… the history between the Celtics and Lakers… it was a great energy game,” he said.
