"Seriously, Wikipedia, you need to do better! 112 years old?? I know I didn’t get enough sleep last night and might look a bit tired, but I don’t think I look a day over 110!" she joked, and fans couldn't help but chime in.

In a new and tantalizing thriller, "The Housemaid," Lionsgate has secured a powerhouse cast with Emmy-nominated Sydney Sweeney and Oscar-winner Amanda Seyfried headlining the project. The two stars will bring to life a suspenseful story based on Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel, with Lionsgate tapping "Bridesmaids" director Paul Feig to helm the film.

Rebecca Sonnenshine, known for her work on "The Boys," has penned the screenplay adaptation, promising to translate McFadden’s gripping narrative into a cinematic experience that blends psychological tension with edge-of-your-seat twists.

Sweeney and Seyfried are on board not only as leads but also as executive producers.

“I’m thrilled to have The Housemaid join our upcoming slate,” Adam Fogelson, chair of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, said, per Deadline. “A great filmmaker and a great cast with a great script from a great book is a terrific place to start. My prior work experiences with Paul and Amanda have been nothing short of spectacular, and Sydney is as talented and compelling as can be.”

In "The Housemaid," Sydney Sweeney will take on the role of Millie, a young woman desperate for a new beginning and thrilled to land a job as housemaid for an affluent couple, Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar). But as Millie settles into her new role, she uncovers dangerous secrets that hint at a darker reality lurking beneath the couple's polished exterior.

“Part of the fun of the book was imagining the cast while we read it, and Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried are perfect for Millie and Nina – they’re both mysterious, nuanced, and incredibly skilled at becoming characters who don’t reveal everything right away,” Erin Westerman, co-president of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, said. “We’re thrilled to team them with Paul Feig, who we worked with on A Simple Favor and its upcoming sequel and has a proven track record of developing stories with dynamic female leads.”
