Elon Musk Allegedly Splurges $35M On Texas Compound For His 11 Kids And Some Of Their Mothers
Elon Musk has reportedly purchased a sprawling $35 million compound in Texas for his children and some of their mothers.
Elon Musk has reportedly purchased a sprawling $35 million compound in Texas for his children and some of their mothers.
The estate, which boasts an impressive array of amenities and plenty of space to roam, is said to be the primary residence for Elon's blended family, including all 11 of his kids and at least two of their mothers.
It is unclear how many of his children and their moms have moved in, especially as Elon Musk is locked in a public fight with his daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, over her gender transition, as well as a nasty custody battle with one of his children's mother, singer Grimes.
Elon Musk Buys Texas Compound For His Blended Family
According to the New York Times, the Tesla boss has reportedly snapped up a $35 million Texas mansion that's set to host his blended family, which includes 11 children and at least three ex-partners.
The property is said to be a 14,400-square-foot villa designed to look like the lavish homes in Tuscany, Italy. It also has a six-bedroom mansion directly behind it that Elon helped purchase, per sources and public records.
Four people with inside knowledge of the situation told the news outlet that Elon has always wanted to have two of his children's mothers live "in adjoining properties" so that his younger children can be a "part of one another's lives," and he can also "schedule time" among them.
Elon has seemingly obsessed over declining birth rates in recent years and has been encouraging his followers on X (formerly Twitter), the social media company he runs, to follow in his footsteps by having as many kids as possible.
"It should be considered a national emergency to have kids," he posted in June.
The Tesla Boss Is Unlikely To Get All His Children In One Place
It remains to be seen how the 53-year-old tech billionaire will successfully bring his blended family under one roof due to his feud with his daughter Vivian and legal battle with his ex-partner Grimes.
Regarding his desire to have two of his children's mothers live "in adjoining properties," he was presumably talking about his recent exes, Neuralink employee Shivon Zilis and singer Grimes, as they are the women with whom he shares younger children.
According to the New York Times, Zilis, who shares 2-year-old twins, Strider and Azure, and a third child whose name is unknown, has already "moved into one of the homes with her children."
However, Elon and Grimes have been embroiled in a tense custody battle over their three children: 4-year-old son X A-12, also known as baby X, 2-year-old daughter Exa, and 2-year-old son Techno, per Business Insider.
Grimes' mom, Sandy Garossino, also took to X to slam Elon, accusing him of "withholding" the kids from the Canadian singer, who was born Claire Elise Boucher.
"She was thrilled for the kids' planned visit to celebrate her birthday this weekend. Today. But those hopes were crushed when the trip was canceled," Garossino wrote on X.
"I am alarmed to learn that the children cannot come as you are withholding them and their needed passport documents from Claire," she added, referring to Grimes by her first name.
Grimes Shaded Her Past Relationship With Elon Musk
Recently, on X, the "Oblivion" singer spoke about her queerness and how it has changed since she became a mother.
"I became way less gay after I was pregnant, my ability to focus on reading and writing went way up, as did my general creativity, but my ability to focus on technical things went *way* down," she wrote on the social media site.
"Is this all explained by hormones?" she quipped.
When a fan responded to her, explaining that her feelings may have come from "being in a heterosexual relationship with a bigot," she seemingly agreed with the "bigot" remark, writing, "I feel like that shud [sic] make me more gay tho."
In a since-deleted post on X, Grimes accused Elon of keeping her son away from her.
She said at the time, "Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son, or plz respond to my lawyer. I have never been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart."
The singer shared a few days later that she had been able to reach out to Zilis, adding that the 38-year-old shouldn't be blamed for the tense situation between her and Elon.
Elon Musk's Strained Relationship With His Trans Daughter Vivian
As Elon has only adult children with his first wife, Justine Musk, it appears he's not prioritizing them in his living arrangements.
However, a source told the New York Times that "there is room" for them should they decide to visit.
The estranged couple was married between 2000-2008 and share 20-year-old twins, Griffin and Vivian Musk, and 18-year-old triplet sons, Kai, Saxon, and Damian.
Elon has been involved in a public altercation with his daughter, Vivian, over her gender identity, once claiming she was "killed by the woke-mind virus."
He also added that he was deceived into approving gender reassignment surgery for her transition.
Vivian Called Her Father A 'Serial Adulterer'
Since Elon's comments about Vivian's identity on X, she has made sure to put him on blast any chance she gets.
Back in August, she called out the Billionaire for trying to paint himself as a "caring paternal father."
Vivian said, "You just won't stop lying about me in interviews, books, social media, etc. Thank god you're absolutely terrible at it because otherwise, this would be significantly more difficult."
In a follow-up post, the 20-year-old criticized Elon's portrayal of himself as a champion of traditional values, stating that her dad is not a "Western values/Christian family man" but rather a "serial adulterer who won't stop f-cking lying about [his] own children."
