Grant Williams Leaves Game With Knee Injury
Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams suffered a right knee injury late in his team's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. On a fourth-quarter drive to the basket, Williams collapsed to the ground when his right leg gave out underneath him. Williams had to be helped off the court and back to the locker room. Postgame, Hornets coach Charles Lee said Williams will undergo further testing. "I think it has just been diagnosed as a right knee injury. We'll continue to get some imaging and evaluations," Lee said. "The most important thing is that all of our prayers are with Grant, and we hope the news comes back as good as possible." Williams has played in all 16 games for Charlotte this season. He's started several as a small-ball five for the Hornets. Williams is averaging 10.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season.
