The Los Angeles Lakers have been fortunate enough to see some of the best players in NBA history suit up for their franchise.
For generations, the Lakers have been guided by superstar talents, and the current version of the team includes LeBron James, who has already secured one title for the storied franchise.
Although James is in his 22nd season and 40 years old, he remains a dominant force on the court and has Los Angeles within earshot of being a true contender during the 2024-25 NBA season.
While James is primarily known as a playmaker, he has also proven to be an effective scorer.
He is the league’s all-time leading scorer.
At this point in his career, James has surpassed numerous milestones and is forever linked to Kobe Bryant, who spearheaded the Lakers during his 20-year career.
Five years ago today, Bryant shouted out James after the latter passed him for third all-time on the NBA’s scoring list via ClutchPoints.
“Kobe shouted out LeBron in his last tweet, 5 years ago today Mamba Forever.”
