Sky Germany reports that Eintracht Frankfurt defensive duo Nnamdi Collins and Nathaniel Brown are both on the radar of German national team head coach Julian Nagelsmann.
If the pair continue their form then they could hope for call-ups next year. Brown himself has a chance to be called up as early as the next international break in March due to his great form for die Adler.
The 21-year-old has only played seven times for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga this season, since joining from Nürnberg in the summer, but has scored three and assisted two and looks to have cemented his place as Frankfurt’s left-back going forward.
Collins on the other hand has been a slow burner. After joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2023, he has taken a while to break into the Frankfurt first team, but has now become an option more recently, regularly being used at right-back. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and the 20 year old is the type of player that Dortmund would need right now amid their injury issues in defence.
With Brown and Collins both playing in positions where there is a significant lack of depth in the national team, their chances of getting a call up are probably even greater than first expected.
