Details Emerge About Why Jimmy Butler Is Upset With Heat

We all know that Jimmy Butler is clearly upset with the Miami Heat, but no one has been sure about why he is so unhappy with the team, its coaching staff, and the front office.

Now some details are coming to light about what led to Butler demanding a trade.

According to Ramona Shelburne, per NBACentral, Butler isn’t pleased with what he perceives as a changing role in the roster.

Shelburne’s report said:

“On the court, Butler began to believe that the Heat were prioritizing Adebayo and Herro over him, sources close to Butler said…‘If they’re doing this transition to Bam and Tyler, Jimmy’s like, ‘Fine, do your transition,’ a source close to Butler said. ‘If [he’s] going to be the second or third wheel, [he’ll] be that in Phoenix to Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.’”

Butler is comfortable being “the second or third wheel,” but only if it’s behind players like Kevin Durant or Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns.

For years, Butler has led the Heat, and if that is going to change, he would like to take his skills elsewhere.

Herro has been having a banner year, so no one can blame the Heat for favoring him more.

Meanwhile, Adebayo remains a vital part of the team’s offense and defense and does things that Butler simply cannot.

While it makes sense for Butler to be uncomfortable about his position within the roster changing, some feel he needs to understand that he is aging and the success of the team is more important than anything else.

If they are winning more with Herro and Adebayo in charge, Butler should accept it, these fans claim.

Although Butler is allegedly okay with being behind Durant and Booker, no deal has been made to make that happen, and he is still a member of the Heat.
