The start of the NBA regular season has not gone well for the star-studded Milwaukee Bucks, as Doc Rivers’ squad has stumbled out of the gate and has only just started to get back to form as a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference.
Among the glaring issues for the Bucks over the past two months is the play of superstar Damian Lillard, who sometimes seems like his old self, dominating the competition as one of the best scorers in the game.
However, Lillard has been inconsistent, leading some to think he could be on the downside of his NBA career, which former NBA star DeMarcus Cousins would seemingly agree with.
Cousins believes that Lillard is playing so poorly at this point in the NBA season that he would take Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball over him in his top five players, which sparked a reaction out of another former player Chandler Parsons via Run It Back.
“He is balling, but Boogie top 5? You’re not taking him over Dame. Stop it,” Parsons said.
“Definitely over Dame right now,” Cousins said. “He’s for sure over Dame right now. Overall, I’m putting him over Dame right now.”

Fortunately for Lillard, things are starting to turn around for the Bucks, as they have won seven of their last 10 games and five straight, which is a drastic change for Milwaukee.
As for the Charlotte Hornets, things haven’t gone as well, with the team sporting a record of 6-12, even though Ball has been able to stay healthy and play at a high level.
