Colin Cowherd Doesn’t Think Jayson Tatum Is A Superstar

Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics has said he doesn’t get the respect he deserves and he definitely will not be happy with the latest comments from Colin Cowherd.

Cowherd recently said that Tatum is not a “superstar.”

“I think Jayson Tatum is actually closer to Klay Thompson in his prime than Steph Curry in his prime,” Cowherd said, per Legion Hoops.

This is surely going to pour fuel on the fire constantly raging throughout the Celtics fanbase.

Boston fans feel that Tatum is an A-lister and All-Star who is one of the greatest players in the league.

He is averaging 26.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game and remains a vital part of all the team’s plans.

But even though he is posting strong numbers and is now a champion and two-time gold medal winner, some people feel that Tatum is lacking in important parts of his game.

They say he isn’t a natural team leader and doesn’t deliver at crunch time.

These critics state that Jaylen Brown is a more important player and Tatum cannot be relied upon during the playoffs.

Others claim he is missing the X-factor that makes other players, such as LeBron James and Steph Curry, superstars.

It seems that Tatum is going to hear these kinds of comments for all of his career because even now as he is averaging a lot and winning titles with his team, people are still criticizing him and his output on the court.

Tatum isn’t happy about that but he seems used to it and it doesn’t stop him from playing terrific basketball.
