Bronny James’ rookie season has been filled with nonstop media attention and a lot of criticism.
No matter what he does, people are talking about him.
On Friday night, James spoke to Dave McMenamin and the press about his work this season and how he has developed.
He said he has been putting in work behind the scenes, preparing himself to deliver anything that is needed.
He said he can see improvements in his game playing for both the South Bay and Los Angeles Lakers.
“I can see improvement and it’s going well for me,” James said.

James spent 15 minutes on the court during Friday night’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
The Lakers were supremely short-handed and they needed help from everyone.
During his 15 minutes, James posted five points and two rebounds.
He clearly wasn’t the most impactful player on the team but he did chip in and that means something.
James has been doing quite well in the G-League and has had some amazing standout games.
He hasn’t been able to translate that into strong matches with the Los Angeles Lakers, but James likes how he is growing and improving.
For the rest of the season, he will likely only get minutes during games like Friday’s, when the Lakers need a lot of help or if victory or defeat is assured.
But James has made it clear that he is going to work hard during every game and take advantage of all the minutes he receives.
He wants to get better and says it’s paying off.
