Reaves was on fire all night and scored 37 points, eight rebounds, and 13 assists.
He looked like a perfect No. 1 option for the Lakers and was leading plays, making great passes, and helping guide his team.
Meanwhile, Dalton Knecht was a great second choice with his 32 points.
For the last few years, a lot of NBA fans have seen the talent in Reaves and have said that he could lead a team of his own someday.
The Lakers are lucky to have him, especially on nights like this, when he is able to step up and pick up the slack.
If it weren’t for Reaves, Friday night’s game would have been a blowout and the Nuggets would have waltzed to victory.
Instead, the Lakers made them fight hard for the win.
This game was a sign that the Lakers can still play hard and hang with tough teams even without players like LeBron James and Luka Doncic.
It was a big moral victory and Reaves is right to be proud.
