The Jimmy Butler era might be over for the Miami Heat.

It seems like both parties have burned all their bridges.

Butler has been suspended for seven games for alleged conduct detrimental to the team, which has led to speculation about a potential trade.

Despite his injury woes, age, and history of conflict and power struggles, Butler has drawn plenty of interest around the league.

According to a report by Brian Windhorst of ESPN (via Evan Sidery), the Phoenix Suns have been the most aggressive team in their pursuit of Butler.

On ESPN, Windhorst stated that most teams were trying to see how little they had to give up for the Heat to give Butler away.

The Suns, on the other hand, were very serious about it.

The only issue is that the only way to get him would be to include Bradley Beal.

The Heat, however, are not interested in the injury-prone Beal, who has a no-trade clause in his contract and is also making top dollar.

Windhorst argued that while he does believe Butler will be moved, the Suns might be the team in the most difficult position to go after him because of Beal’s terrible contract.

He believes the only way to get something done is to include a third or potentially a fourth team, and finding someone willing to take on Beal’s contract will be challenging.

The trade deadline is closing in, and this will be the biggest storyline to follow.
