Paris Saint-Germain are grappling with attacking issues this season, particularly in the UEFA Champions League, where goals have been scarce under Luis Enrique’s management.
Earlier this year, PSG was linked to Liverpool’s dynamic winger Luis Díaz, though those rumors fizzled out without much traction. However, with their ongoing struggles up front, the club could consider reviving their interest in the Colombian star.
Díaz, currently contracted with Liverpool until 2027, is reportedly in talks for a new deal. Yet, negotiations appear to have hit a snag, which could open the door for a potential move if an agreement isn’t reached.
Antena 2 previously reported that Barcelona and PSG were among the first clubs to express interest in Díaz, with both reportedly willing to offer up to €80 million for his signature.
Now, AC Milan has entered the picture as the Rossoneri look to add a world-class player capable of transforming their attack, with Díaz emerging as one of their primary targets.
What’s the latest on Luis Díaz?
Despite the rumors, Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg revealed that the winger has no plans to leave Liverpool. He also revealed a “very good” relationship with manager Arne Slot, who has impressed by smoothly stepping into the role after Jürgen Klopp.
“Despite many rumours, Luis Díaz is currently not planning a move away from Liverpool FC,” Plettenberg wrote.
“The 27 y/o scored twice against Tottenham, feels very comfortable at the club, and there are no ongoing talks with other teams at the moment. The winger, who is under contract until 2027, also has a very good relationship with Arne Slot.”
