A 14-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 91-year-old woman.

Jesse Stone, who was charged with sexual assault and burglary, entered the plea on Thursday, Nov. 7, according to court records, per WCJB.

Stone was arrested in June after the woman called police to report that she was sexually assaulted in her Florida home near the town of Reddick.

Deputies said the woman awoke around midnight on Sunday, June 9, to find Stone “sneaking through her home,” according to a Marion County Sheriff’s Office press release.

“In a cruel act of violence, she was beaten and sexually battered by the suspect," the press release states.

In the days following the attack, police said they spoke to the 14-year-old who told them that a neighbor captured a video of a person wearing a dark T-shirt and shorts jogging in the area the night before, per the Ocala Star-Banner, citing a police report.

Though the teen denied that it was him in the video, a detective noted that he was wearing similar clothes to the person in the footage, according to the Star-Banner.

Stone was later identified “through the collection of DNA evidence,” according to the release from the sheriff's office.

Stone confessed to the attack, telling investigators he entered the home through the living room door and had watched pornography on her iPad, according to the Star-Banner, citing the police report.

The woman said she had spoken to the teen in the past and considered him "a good boy,” the police report added, per the Star-Banner.

“This type of unimaginable violence is still shocking to me after all of my years in law enforcement,” Sheriff Billy Woods said after the arrest. "It came as a shock that any individual would commit such an act on a 91-year-old, but it is truly disturbing when we see the young age of the arrestee.”

Stone is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 19, per WESH.
