Lee was in action against Bolton on Tuesday – his 31st appearance this seasonGetty Having begun his career at West Ham, he finally left on a permanent deal to Barnsley in 2016 following five loan spells away. A move to Luton followed in 2017, and after a further two loans at Oxford and Charlton, he ended up at Wrexham where is an influential member of their squad. Lee is the second Wrexham player to be involved in a road traffic accident in recent weeks following James McClean‘s scare. Thankfully, the 35-year-old walked away unscathed from the crash as he headed into training last month. Fog and ice caused McClean to lose control of his black Audi and go off road near Wrexham Golf Club. The winger was cut and bruised, but still started in a League One clash against League One rivals Birmingham City the following day.
