Warriors Have Serious Interest In Trading For Bulls Veteran

From Jimmy Butler to Lauri Markkanen and others, the Golden State Warriors have been attached to many NBA stars over the last season.

It seems inevitable that they will attempt to trade for another big star to play alongside Steph Curry and gain a chance at the playoffs again.

Now, one Chicago Bulls veteran is gaining a lot of interest from the Warriors.

The Athletic is reporting, via Evan Sidery, that the Warriors have “serious interest in trading for Nikola Vucevic.”

Sidery noted that the Warriors have the necessary contracts to match Vucevic’s $20 million salary, so will they take the steps to get him, and will this be the only trade they pursue?

Vucevic is now in his fifth season with the Bulls, averaging 20.3 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.

The 6-foot-10 center has been in the NBA for 13 seasons and has a career average of 17.2 points and 10.5 rebounds.

He’s a talented player, but is that enough for the Warriors or do they want more?

The team is in a tricky spot and clearly needs to make a few adjustments so they can climb higher than the ninth seed in the West.

Vucevic could give them a significant boost, but he might not be the only player they bring to the team.

They have the money for the Bulls star, but they might need to get creative when it comes to other trades and several star Warriors players might be leaving for other teams.

Vucevic has been a rumored trade piece for a few seasons but is this the year he actually leaves Chicago?
