The once-close friendship between Italian football stars Christian Vieri and Antonio Cassano has devolved into a public spat, with harsh words exchanged on social media and in interviews. The feud, which began with the dissolution of their popular show Bobo TV, has now escalated to personal attacks and family mentions.

Vieri, known as “Bobo,” took to Instagram to respond to Cassano’s recent comments, writing:

“Dear Cassano, you should be ashamed of yourself. Don’t you dare mention my mother! Learn how to speak. Those who talk about other people’s families and parents are worth nothing! Mind your own business! Shame on you.”

This outburst came in response to Cassano’s remarks during an interview on the “Basement” podcast with Gianluca Gazzoli. Cassano had previously stated on the TV show “Striscia la Notizia”:

“I don’t talk about that guy anymore, it’s a closed chapter. The results we’re getting now are better than before: we were three superstars plus another one, now we’re just superstars.”

During the podcast interview, Cassano further criticized Vieri and the viewership of Bobo TV after his departure along with Nicola Ventola and Daniele Adani:

“You thought you were the strongest? But it’s us three. Are you convinced? Go alone and see what happens, now not even your mother follows you.”

The conflict stems from the breakup of Bobo TV, a popular online show that featured the four ex-footballers discussing the sport. The sudden split left fans puzzled and has now resulted in this public war of words.
