Sebastian Walukiewicz, Torino’s 24-year-old defender, has returned home after a brief hospital stay following a health incident during Saturday’s Serie A match against Bologna. The Polish player was substituted around the 30-minute mark of the first half due to breathing difficulties, prompting immediate medical attention.
Walukiewicz was taken to the hospital for precautionary tests immediately after leaving the field. Fortunately, his condition improved quickly, and he was discharged on Saturday evening, just hours after the match.
The club has confirmed that Walukiewicz is now resting at home and will not participate in training today, as the entire squad has been given a day off. Torino’s coach, Paolo Vanoli, has scheduled the team’s return to training for tomorrow morning at the Filadelfia training ground.
