Torino in Talks with Inter for Buchanan Loan Deal

Torino are  working to strengthen their squad under manager Ivan Vanoli for the second half of the season, with Inter Milan’s Tajon Buchanan emerging as a prime target for their wide positions.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Granata have initiated discussions with Inter regarding a potential loan move for the 25-year-old Canadian international. Both clubs are currently negotiating the terms of a loan agreement that would include an option to buy, though the current valuation for this option is reportedly quite high.

However, Inter’s willingness to part with Buchanan hinges on their ability to secure a suitable replacement. The Nerazzurri are unlikely to sanction the move without first ensuring they have adequate cover in the wide areas.

Buchanan, who joined Inter in January 2024, played a role in the club’s 20th Scudetto triumph last season, making 10 appearances and scoring one goal. However, his playing time has been limited in the current 2024/25 campaign, with just five Serie A appearances and one Coppa Italia outing to his name.

The Canadian’s situation has also caught the attention of Roma, adding another dimension to the transfer saga.
