Did Taylor Swift give a sweet nod to her boyfriend Travis Kelce onstage?
While performing her Eras Tour show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday, Nov. 2, Swift, 34, sang a mashup of "This Love" from 1989 and "The Prophecy" from The Tortured Poets Department with her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend, 35, in the audience.
The lyrics of "The Prophecy" see Swift hopelessly reminiscing about her past attempts at relationships and beseeching a higher power to help her find love. In the song, she sings, "Let it once be me / Who do I have to speak to / About if they can redo / The prophecy?"
According to a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Swift changed the lyrics of her ballad "This Love" — which is about the highs and lows of being in love — from "These hands had to let it go free / and this love came back to me" to "These hands had to let it go free / and it changed the prophecy."
Fans in the audience picked up on the slight lyric change and suggested it was a romantic gesture to Kelce that emphasized how he's changed her perspective on love. "Taylor singing the prophecy with travis there … bc she’s now found her soulmate," wrote one fan on X.

"Taylor singing the prophecy x this love while a certain someone is in the audience, supporting her always even during his busiest season," another fan wrote in reference to the ongoing NFL season.
The 14-time Grammy winner has previously referenced Kelce in her Era Tour shows, including a fun moment in October when she mimed throwing a football during the "Midnight Rain” outro, in which she sings, "And he never thinks of me / Except when I'm on TV."

On other occasions, she has struck an archer pose during the same song, pretending to shoot with a bow and arrow, which is similar to Kelce’s signature move for touchdown celebrations.
Swift also famously changes the words to "Karma" during her concerts, singing, "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”
The couple first sparked dating rumors in September 2023, before confirming their romance by stepping out hand-in-hand in New York City the following month. Both have supported each other in their respective careers, with Swift becoming a staple at Chief games and Kelce attending Swift’s concerts around the world.
