Welcome to The Blueprint, where we break down the celebrity looks we want to wear right now and build them back up, piece by piece.
Whenever Taylor Swift steps foot into Arrowhead Stadium, I’m immediately paying attention.
Such was the case on Sunday, Nov. 10, when the 34-year-old singer arrived at the Kansas City Chiefs’ matchup against the Denver Broncos wearing an outfit I can only describe as WAG perfection. Continuing her recent parade of plaid outfits, Swift sported a red-and-black houndstooth Versace blazer and skirt set that totaled $5,045 during the outing. She styled the look with knee-high black boots and a black Victoria’s Secret corset top — a surprisingly affordable find that’s currently on sale for $35.
While so many elements of Swift’s outfit are ideal for fall-to-winter dressing, I haven’t stopped thinking about her festive blazer worn over a classic black top. Not only do they look great together, but their styling potential as individual pieces is virtually endless, too. Looking to copy her outfit for less? I rounded up similar tank tops, blazers, and knee-high boots for you to shop now, starting at just $20.

It’s currently in stock in all 10 colors, including pink, emerald green, and the black hue she wore to the game, and each corset comes with a matching thong. Copy the singer by layering it under a blazer or sweater, or wear it as a standalone top with jeans and skirts, like I plan to do.

While Swift can’t stop wearing plaid prints this season, her latest iteration had an extra-festive, winter-ready twist. Copy her look for upcoming holiday gatherings by adding this lookalike houndstooth blazer to your closet while it’s on sale. Its sophisticated lapels and classy gold buttons are sure to add a polished touch to any outfit, and its functional pockets mean you can keep essentials within arm’s reach.
Plus, one shopper noted that it looks much more “expensive” than it is. “It makes you feel fancy without having to spend a lot of money,” they wrote.

I’m constantly reaching for knee-high boots lately, and it seems I’m not alone: Swift has also worn multiple variations of the shoe style in recent weeks. These on-sale boots from Banana Republic Factory have a similar shaft height and pointed-toe silhouette as the singer’s, but their kitten heel makes them much more wearable for everyday life. Take after her look by picking up a pair in black, or choose from bright wine and chocolate suede.
