The Golden State Warriors almost escaped with a win on Christmas Day.
Instead, Austin Reaves stole the show and got the best of them with a game-winning layup.
With that in mind, former analyst Skip Bayless took to social media to call out Steve Kerr and his team for it.
He made the most of yet another opportunity to take a sneak jab at LeBron James by stating that it was unfathomable that the Warriors lost to a Los Angeles Lakers team missing its best player, Anthony Davis.
No way the Warriors should’ve lost a Christmas night home game to a team without its best player, Anthony Davis. Wonder what Steve Kerr’s excuse will be this time?

As good a player as Davis is, the Lakers are still LeBron James’ team.
Davis has been injury-prone and inconsistent for most of his career, so he’s more of an elite second option – perhaps the best in the league – than a clear-cut No. 1.
Reaves stepped up big time in his absence.
He finished the game with a 26-point triple-double and the game-winning shot, capping off one of the greatest Christmas Day performances ever.
The Lakers and Warriors still have a lot of things to clean up, though.
The Warriors need to determine the best course of action for Jonathan Kuminga, who has not yet made significant progress despite having more opportunities.
They may consider using him as a trade asset to acquire a player who can contribute immediately to their championship goals.
The same goes for the Lakers, who will most likely need to go through a roster overhaul before the trade deadline to bolster their playoff chances.
