Where will Jimmy Butler spend the rest of the season?
Will he play for the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, or another team?
Maybe he won’t go to any of those locations and will remain with the Miami Heat.
According to Anthony Chiang, per Legion Hoops, there is a very good chance that Butler will rejoin the Heat.
In fact, Chiang reported that this is “more likely with each passing day.”
He said:
“The Heat has had discussions with several teams in recent days regarding a potential Butler trade, according to a league source. But as of Sunday night, a deal was not close.”

This situation has been difficult from the very beginning, and it doesn’t seem like it’s gotten any easier.
Butler wants to leave Miami and the Heat don’t want to cling onto a star who has no interest in being there, but it’s not as simple as just letting him move to another destination.
No other front office has been able to formulate the right sort of trade to attain Butler.
Obviously, contracts have to match and the Heat need to see an upside in agreeing to any deal.
There has been a lot of talk of the Suns making something happen, but Bradley Beal’s no-trade clause in his contract has thrown a monkey wrench into their hopes.
This means that Butler might be back with Miami in only a few days after his seven-game suspension comes to an end.
If that happens, how will he play?
Will he remain professional and perform well, or will he continue to make his opinion known and make life miserable for Miami’s front office?
This situation is already messy, but it could get even messier if Butler returns to the Heat.
