His three-point ability was second to none when he was in the league. While he doesn’t hold any records because Steph Curry broke many of them, Miller is often viewed as a trailblazer, paving the way for Curry’s career to flourish.
Miller hasn’t played an NBA game in quite some time, but he has found a home for himself as a main analyst for TNT.
Unfortunately for Miller and his colleagues, TNT will not be broadcasting NBA games in 2025 and beyond, forcing them to find new jobs within the industry, assuming they want to stick around.
According to Andrew Marchand of “The New York Times,” Miller is already being looked at by other networks who might be interested in his services moving forward.
“NBC also has some interest in TNT’s lead analyst Reggie Miller for its game broadcast, according to the sources. The former Indiana Pacer Hall of Famer would likely be on NBC’s top games if he were to sign with them. The talks are ongoing, but no offers have been made yet,” Marchand said.
NBC could be a great fit for Miller, especially if they are looking for a former player who can contribute a lot to a broadcast.
TNT might be missing out on some NBA revenue moving forward, but their loss could be a big gain for other networks, especially if Miller is a part of their broadcasts, seeing how he is a fan favorite.
