Bild reports that RB Leipzig are likely to be active in the transfer market in the winter when it comes to departures and even arrivals.
The two players that are set to leave in the winter are Andre Silva and Eljif Elmas. Both have struggled at the Red Bull Arena since moving in 2021 and 2024 so it is looking increasingly like parting ways will be the solution for all parties.
After a failed loan at Real Sociedad last season, Silva has been reintegrated into the squad and has played a bit part role in recent weeks.
A departure of either player will also allow Leipzig to enter the market for another player to boost their squad for the second half of the season.
Another potential departure, but not immediately, is Yussuf Poulsen. The veteran striker could leave Leipzig if the club receives a suitable offer for him, whose contract expires in 2026. The 30-year-old has been a mainstay in Leipzig’s rise through the German divisions having joined the club from his native Denmark in 2013 when they were in the 3.Liga.
