It would depend on why you feel it's haunted. What is going on in there? Are there any other rooms in the house that has activity?

You have to be careful on anything you use to deal w it. ‘Sage’ has to be specific types…and some can make things worse. So can throwing biblical prayers at it. If it's an indigenous energy, prayers will do nothing but very much anger it/make things worse.

You have to know what you are dealing with before doing anything against it. There are some items you can use (crystals such as black tourmaline and selenite) that have no religious ties and can be safely used to help with removing/weakening negative energy. IF it's necessary.

Some hauntings can be dealt with through a conversation. But I wouldn't suggest that without contacting someone/a team that can discern what the issue is.
