Killian Hayes is once again without a home in the NBA.
After a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets, Hayes doesn’t have a team but that doesn’t mean he won’t be back in the future.
According to Bovada, per NBACentral, the Phoenix Suns are the odds-on favorites to land Hayes if he plays in the league next season.
The Suns have +425 odds, followed by the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards with +650, and then the Memphis Grizzlies, Atlanta Hawks, and San Antonio Spurs all with +700.
It sounds like Hayes will have some options, but does that mean he will be in the league during 2025-26?

Hayes was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, selected by the Detroit Pistons who imagined him as a point guard they could grow, develop, and keep for many years.
In the end, they held onto him for four seasons.
After leaving the Pistons, it wasn’t clear where Hayes would go so people were excited when the Nets signed him to a 10-day deal.
During his six games with Brooklyn, Hayes showed some moments of greatness but also struggled at times.
He averaged 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.2 assists on 41.9 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from the three-point line.
He had room for improvement but a lot of Brooklyn fans thought the Nets would sign him to another 10-day contract, but they decided to move beyond him, especially since D’Angelo Russell is ready to play again.
Now Hayes is on the hunt for a new contract, but it may be a while before he wears a jersey again.
His NBA tenure has been full of ups and downs but Hayes is still young and attempting to get his career back on track.
