The nominees for the prestigious Gran Galà del Calcio awards have been revealed, highlighting the standout performances from the Serie A season. Among the contenders for the coveted title of Serie A Club of the Year are Atalanta, Inter, and Juventus.

The Gran Galà del Calcio is an annual event that celebrates excellence in Italian football, recognizing the best players, coaches, clubs, and referees over the past calendar year. The awards are determined through votes from members of the Italian Players’ Association (AIC), with winners set to be announced during a ceremony on December 2.

In addition to recognizing clubs, individual awards will also be presented.

The nominees for Goalkeeper of the Year include Michele Di Gregorio from Monza/Juventus, Yann Sommer from Inter, and Mike Maignan from Milan. For Defender of the Year, contenders include Theo Hernandez (Milan), Gleison Bremer (Juventus), Raoul Bellanova (Torino/Atalanta), Alessandro Bastoni (Inter), Denzel Dumfries (Inter), and several others.

The Midfielder of the Year category features notable names such as Teun Koopmeiners (Atalanta/Juventus), Nicolò Barella (Inter), Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter), and Adrien Rabiot (Juventus/Olympique Marseille).

Meanwhile, the Forward of the Year nominees include Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez from Inter, Rafael Leao from Milan, and Ademola Lookman from Atalanta.

Coaching excellence will also be recognized, with nominees for Coach of the Year including Simone Inzaghi (Inter), Thiago Motta (Bologna/Juventus), and Gian Piero Gasperini (Atalanta).
