Pop superstar Justin Bieber is reportedly waiting to settle his $31.5 million debt to his ex-manager Scooter Braun's Hybe company.

According to reports, the singer will settle his debts with the proceeds from his wife, Hailey Bieber's $1 billion Rhode beauty sale, where he is expected to receive around $50 million.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber dropped his seventh studio album, "Swag," hailed for its mature themes of marriage, mental health, and personal growth.

According to TMZ, Justin won't be settling his hefty debt to Scooter Braun's former company just yet, not until the sale of his wife's Rhode beauty brand is finalized.

Insiders with direct knowledge say the agreement between Justin and Braun includes a key clause: the singer's $31.5 million obligation is postponed until the Rhode deal officially closes and funds are transferred.

As previously reported by the news outlet, an independent audit revealed that Justin owed Hybe $26 million, following the company's payment to AEG to cover costs associated with his canceled "Justice" tour.

He also owed $11 million in unpaid commissions to Braun. While an additional $8 million in commissions was on the books, Braun opted to waive that amount.

Per the settlement, the "Peaches" hitmaker agreed to pay Hybe the $26 million plus half of the $11 million commission, bringing his total payment to approximately $31.5 million.

Justin Bieber Doesn't Have The Money To Settle His Debt Without His Wife's Assistance

Sources close to the situation say Justin doesn't have the cash on hand to settle the debt until Rhode's sale money comes in.

The brand is reportedly valued at around $1 billion, with several investors involved. While Hailey will receive a significant share, Justin, who is also an investor, is expected to earn about $50 million, which should be enough to cover his settlement with Hybe.

So, why didn't Justin use the $200 million from his catalog sale 18 months ago? Insiders explain that taxes, legal fees, management costs, and personal spending significantly reduced that payout, making it impossible for him to clear his debt without Hailey's help.

On a positive note, Justin's settlement of his debt reportedly grants him ownership of his masters, a significant win for any artist.

It's worth noting that Braun won't see any of the repayment, as the money goes directly to Hybe, following his exit from the company.

As for when Rhode's sale closes, sources estimate it'll happen within a month or two.

A spokesperson for Hailey told the publication that the "historic sale of Rhode is a huge accomplishment for Hailey and is completely separate from her husband and his business affairs."

Meanwhile, Justin has officially dropped what sources are calling one of his most personal projects yet.

His seventh studio album, "Swag," was released Friday via Def Jam, marking his first full-length project since 2021's "Justice."

The 21-track album dives deep into themes of marriage struggles, mental health, and personal growth. It features collaborations with Sexyy Red, Dijon, Lil B, Gunna, Cash Cobain, 2 Chainz, comedian Druski, and more.

Notable tracks include "All I Can Take," "Daisies," "Yukon," "Go Baby," "Therapy Session," and "Walking Away," a song that subtly references the singer's relationship with his wife, Hailey.

In "Walking Away," he sings about relationship tensions: "Days go by so fast, don't wanna spend them with you / So tell me why you're throwing stones at my back / You know I'm defenseless."

But despite the raw lyrics, the hitmaker reassures Hailey of his commitment later in the track, singing: "Baby, I ain't walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise / I told you, 'I'd change' / It's just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain't walking away."

Since its release, Justin's "SWAG" has sparked both critical praise and fan excitement.

On July 11, the singer marked his biggest streaming day ever on Spotify, amassing a staggering 95.8 million streams following the album's debut.

Fans have flooded social media with reactions, applauding Justin's artistic evolution.

"Something I really love about Justin Bieber's album SWAG is how mature it is," one fan commented. "It doesn't feel like an artist stuck in the past or an artist trying to make TikTok music, two issues that a lot of 2010s artists are now struggling with."

Another wrote: "Headphones are not enough anymore, I need Justin Bieber to sing the whole album swag right in front of me."

Others praised its depth and authenticity: "Swag isn't just an album — it's Justin Bieber talking to his wife, his son, his real fans, and most of all, to himself. It's him breaking free, saying whatever he wants. More than music, it's his declaration of independence."
