Charles Barkley reached 11 consecutive All-Star games, but the NBA icon feels pressure just like the rest of us.
The popular broadcaster joined the celeb-packed field at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe over the weekend, which saw the Kelce brothers play some wayward shots.

One viral clip doing the rounds on social media shows Chuck trying to play a delicate shot onto the green with a short wedge.
Unfortunately, he hit the ground before the ball and got way too much heat and not enough elevation on it.
“Oh you fat f***!” Barkley shouts in the clip — a familiar sight for amateurs all over the world.
The Round Mound of Rebound ended up finishing 69th.
Steph Curry flew the flag for the hoopers with a respectable fifth place as former NHL star Joe Pavelski topped the standings.
It could have been worse for Sir Charles, who shot his best-ever round on Friday, including an eagle.
He was asked if he’d ever managed the feat before and told a crazy anecdote that stunned onlookers.
“About five years ago, on a par-4 down the hill, I snap-hooked my drive into a family of duck, geese, whatever you all call them,” said the basketball great via the Daily Mail.
“When we got down there, it was on the ground. I clearly had broken his neck or something. (This) dude starts screaming, ‘You gotta put it out of its misery!’
“I’m like, ‘What the f*** are you talking about?’ He said, ‘It’s not going to make it.’ So these girls start screaming, ‘Don’t do it, don’t do it!’

“And this caveman goes over and pops the duck’s neck, throws it in the lake. It doesn’t die. He dives in the lake and drowns it.
“And I’m playing with Larry the Cable Guy and another comedian who had been cracking jokes nonstop the whole day. And when this happened, I said, ‘You all got anything?’
“They are like, ‘No, we never seen no s*** like that before.’
“So technically I didn’t kill the goose, he killed the goose. I hurt him. So don’t have PETA calling me.
“I don’t even know the dude’s name who drowned the duck… so to answer your question, no.”
Barkley is not renowned for his golfing ability like Michael Jordan but has been improving.

And, after going off on a tangent, he turned his focus back to the game.
“No, I never had an eagle before,” he added. “That was such a cool thing because I hit a good drive and a good shot.
“We couldn’t see the green. And I knew I hit a good shot, and then I guess it (spun) and went in.
“But we couldn’t see it because it’s uphill. When they went crazy, it made my day.”
Barkley is set to appear on ESPN in the 2025-26 NBA season after TNT Sports lost its NBA rights.
ESPN acquired the rights to Inside the NBA in exchange for a selection of Big 12 football and men’s college basketball games.
Fans are worried ESPN’s outspoken style — which Barkley has attacked several times — could impact the show, but the network insists it will not be meddling.
“TNT Sports will continue to independently produce Inside the NBA from its Atlanta-based studios over the term of the agreement,” ESPN said in Novemver.
“I don’t think that’s gonna happen,” The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand told The Dan Patrick Show after the deal was struck — pointing to Pat McAfee‘s freedom to do as he pleases.
“I think that’s the [ESPN chairperson James] Pitaro playbook.
“If I’m a producer there, I’m kind of saying, if I’m in Bristol, ‘What are we doing? We can’t get this right. The big boss keeps outsourcing our programming. That’s not a good sign.’
“But it’s not the same Bristol. … [Pitaro’s] going out and getting what he wants, especially in terms of the on-air people.”
