The Memphis Grizzlies hired Ryan Saunders as the lead assistant on Tuomas Iisalo's staff, reported Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian.

Saunders most recently won a title as a member of the Nuggets staff in 2023.

Saunders amassed a 43-94 record in three seasons as the head coach of the Timberwolves from 2018-2021.
