Tommy Paul’s memorable 2025 hit new heights on Sunday as the US tennis star announced his engagement to Paige Lorenze.

Sharing three photos on Instagram, one of which was a close-up shot of an engagement ring on Lorenze’s finger, the couple captioned their post: ‘Forever’.

Paul, who has also had plenty to celebrate on the court in recent months, cracked the Top 10 in the ATP Rankings for the first time in January and reached a career-high World No. 8 last month.

He is currently ranked 16th in the world after falling in the second round at Wimbledon to Austrian Sebastian Ofner earlier this month.

The 26-year-old, who has a 26-11 record in 2025, has advanced to two Grand Slam quarter-finals this year, at the Australian Open and Roland Garros — where he broke an Andre Agassi record.

Lorenze has been by his side throughout, and was recently seen in the stands at the All England Club.

The couple first shared their relationship publicly in October 2022, and their engagement announcement has been liked by more than 250,000 followers on Instagram since it was shared.

Other big names from the tennis world have also sent the couple their love.

“Congratulations,” WTA World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka wrote, adding a handful of love-heart eye emojis, starstruck emojis and a black heart.

Paul’s fellow Americans, Danielle Collins and Coco Gauff, echoed that message.

“Congrats to the cutest tennis couple,” another fan account wrote.

The official Australian Open and ATP Tour accounts also wished the couple well.

Lorenze has since shared another video from the day of their engagement, which shows the happy couple sharing an embrace at the beach before she flashes her ring to the camera.

“Dream man forever,” she captioned the post.

In another Instagram story, the 27-year-old influencer wrote: “The amount of thought and love Tommy put into these past few days makes me want to cry all over again.

“I feel so incredibly lucky.

“He planned everything so thoughtfully, every detail, every surprise, surrounded by my favourite things and the people I love most.

“I’ll share more soon but right now I’m just soaking it all in!! Thank you for all the love and congratulations.”

Paul, who has won four singles titles across his career to date, will be hoping his fiancee’s support can help him bounce back from Wimbledon disappointment.

After crashing out in the second round in London, he returns stateside with the chance to win another title at the ATP 500 event in Washington DC, which kicks off next week.

He will face tough competition, though, with the likes of Wimbledon semifinalist Taylor Fritz, Daniil Medvedev and Frances Tiafoe, who are all currently ranked higher than Paul, competing.

If he can make a run to the final, the American star would land himself a cool $224,275, which would certainly help with what will no doubt be a lavish wedding on the horizon.

A prize of $420,525 is on offer to the winner of the Washington Open, where defending champion Sebastian Korda is a doubt after a stress fracture in his right shin ended his grass-court season.
