For Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey, baby makes three.

The model, 33, and the San Francisco 49ers running back, 29, confirmed the arrival of their first baby.

“Colette Annalise McCaffrey ,” they captioned a joint Instagram photo of the newborn’s hand on Sunday, July 13.

In a follow-up post on her Instagram Stories, Culpo gushed about seeing her spouse as a father.

“Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world,” Culpo wrote, sharing a photo of McCaffrey watching the infant in her hospital isolette. “A love like no other.”

Culpo underwent a C-section, noting in another post on her Stories that it was “the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.”

“As soon as [Christian] came into the room, I felt most at peace,” she wrote, joking that she had a tight “grip” on his arm.

Culpo announced her pregnancy via Instagram in March. “Next chapter, motherhood ,” she captioned black-and-white photos from a maternity shoot.

In a second post, Culpo shared a video of herself and McCaffrey as they walked in a field while holding hands and showing off her baby bump. McCaffrey also held up sonogram images in another moment from the montage.

The couple met when they were set up on a blind date in June 2019, though they did not go public with their relationship until Valentine’s Day 2020. McCaffrey proposed in April 2023, and the pair tied the knot in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, in June 2024.

Throughout her and McCaffrey’s romance, Culpo has been forthcoming about her desire to start a family. She revealed during a December 2022 episode of The Culpo Sisters that she had frozen her eggs.

“I’ve been making decisions out of fear for the future,” she said. “There’s a lot of pressure that I’ve been putting on my relationship because of fertility.”

She added: “I am going to freeze my eggs so that I can have babies when the time is right for Christian and I. It’s an insurance policy. It’s exciting.”

In an October 2023 TikTok video, Culpo confessed that she wanted to “rip out” her IUD and “start trying immediately” after getting married to McCaffrey.

Once Olivia shared her pregnancy news with the world, Sophia Culpo poked fun at her older sister’s attempts to keep her bump concealed.

“Now you all know why her nickname is Oblivia … she ain’t stealth,” Sophia joked via her Instagram Story alongside Olivia’s post from January where she held her dog over her stomach while posing with McCaffrey.

Sophia continued to tease Olivia in another Instagram Story post, quipping that her sister hid her bump “poorly” at her friends Hayley Sullivan and Deven Marrero’s February wedding since it was visible underneath her dress in a close-up photo. Sophia quoted Olivia as saying, “I’m just bloated,” while Olivia seemingly agreed with her sibling’s opinion in a text, writing, “Hahaha so bad.”

Despite the good-natured joking, Olivia’s sisters were confident of her parenting skills long before she announced her pregnancy.

“I know she’s going to be a really loving mother. I know that she’s going to be very prepared. I think she’s going to have everything in place,” Olivia’s older sister, Aurora Culpo, told People in October 2024. “Probably already picking out her children’s preschool. At the moment she’s probably already on the waitlist.”
