Macaulay Culkin and Seth Green met up for a floral friend hang.
The pair were spotted buying flowers at a farmer’s market on Sunday, July 13. Culkin, 44, and Green, 51, starred in 2003’s Party Monster together, as well as 2019’s Changeland.
Both were dressed casually in white t shirts, while Culkin sported a straw hat and pink crocs. Green, for his part, rocked a grey beard, looking nearly unrecognizable. Culkin’s fiancée, Brenda Song, and the pair’s sons were also spotted on what appeared to be the same outing.
In 2019, Green — who also directed and co-wrote Changeland — told CBS News he was inspired to write the 2019 film after taking a trip.
“I had taken an actual trip to Thailand with my real friend Dan,” he said. “Everywhere we went, people thought we were a honeymooning couple. All of the experiences we were having felt so beautiful and like another planet.”

He continued, “I kept thinking this is a background for a movie. It felt in my head like Sideways or Garden State. On my actual vacation, I had met a cast of inspiring characters, just people from all different parts of the world who had come for a similar experience.”
He also said that Culkin’s character couldn’t be less like the actor.
“That character is nothing like him, aside from the fact that the character has sorted out what he wants from his life,” Green said. “Mac is really one of the most accomplished and well adjusted people I’ve ever known and we’ve known each other for over 20 years now. When I started conceiving of this character that was meant to represent someone who had abandoned everything familiar and set off on their own to decide what their path was going to be. There’s nobody that could do this better than Mac.”

Culkin is notoriously private, but has opened up in recent years as he and Song, who also had a role in the movie, have welcomed their two sons together.

Song celebrated the pair’s 8th anniversary on Instagram on June 17, 2025. “8 years and there is still no one who makes me laugh or smile like the way you do,” she wrote via the platform. “No one who makes me feel more seen, heard or loved. My partner in crime, my adventure partner, my best friend, my baby daddy, my favorite everything- thank you. To be loved by you is the greatest privilege. Happy anniversary. I love you.”
Culkin and Song met while filming the movie in 2017, and first inspired dating rumors after they were spotted holding hands during a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Culkin popped the question in late 2021.
