The Nigerian and Swiss wingers have so far failed to meet the expectations of Milan’s management. If offers around €15-20 million were to arrive for either player, the club would seriously consider them. There’s a possibility that at least one of the two could depart as early as January, and Milan is preparing for this scenario by closely monitoring two promising profiles.
According to reports from Calciomercato, Milan has set its sights on two main targets. The first is Maghnes Akliouche, a left-footed winger who plays on the right. Born in 2002, the French-Algerian player is under contract with Monaco until June 30, 2028. The second target is Jamie Leweling, a versatile and ambidextrous winger born in 2001. The German player of Ghanaian descent currently plays for Stuttgart.
Akliouche’s valuation exceeds €30 million, but the recent Fofana deal has fostered excellent relations between Milan and Monaco, which could facilitate negotiations. For Leweling, the starting price is no less than €25 million, but this figure is likely to increase given his outstanding season in the Bundesliga.
