PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has previously spoken with Rashford’s representatives, but any further discussions would likely depend on whether the player is genuinely interested in a move to Paris. This cautious approach follows Rashford’s decision to sign a five-year contract extension with Manchester United in July 2023.

Jacobs also noted that Rashford is considering a move to La Liga, with Barcelona reportedly showing interest. However, financial constraints could make this deal challenging, with a loan move being the most likely scenario—if Manchester United agrees to cover a significant portion of his wages.

Although Rashford has joined Aston Villa on loan during the winter transfer window, TEAMtalk reported on Wednesday that, citing sources, that the Manchester United outcast remains interested in a move abroad and could use the loan as a stepping stone before making a permanent switch in the summer.

The six-month loan will see him play out the season with Villa, and the report claims that the Midlands club are keen to make the move permanent. However, there are reports indicating that Rashford may have already decided he wants to continue his career elsewhere in the long term.
