Marcus Rashford denies joining agency who helped Gareth Bale leave Tottenham to assist Man United exit

Marcus Rashford has denied reports he’s joined CAA Agency as he looks for a move away from Manchester United. And the English forward appeared to be moving further towards the exit door. It was believed he had linked up with the CAA Stellar agency as he looks to find a new club. That’s the same agency that helped broker Gareth Bale‘s move from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2013. The legendary Welshman moved for a then-world-record of fee of £85.3 million. And he went on to win the Champions League five times and LaLiga on three occasions. However, Rashford has himself shut down that claim. He posted on Instagram: “Been a lot of false stories written over the past few weeks but this is getting ridiculous – never met with any agency and don’t have any plans to…” In December 2024, Rashford was open and honest about a potential exit and insisted if he did it would be with no regrets. Speaking to esteemed journalist Henry Winter, Rashford said: “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps. I don’t expect my peak to be now. “I’ve had nine years so far in the Premier League and that’s taught me a lot, that’s helped me grow as a player and as a person. “So I don’t have any regrets from the last nine years. It’s a concerning time for Amorim at Man United and Rashford is now looking likely to leave the clubGetty “I won’t have any regrets going forward because I take things day by day and sometimes bad things happen, sometimes good things happen. I just try and keep a fine balance.” Speaking to Sky Sports after Rashford’s comments, Amorim said: “Of course it is a hard situation. “But I understand that these kind of players have a lot of people around them, making some choices that is not the first idea from the player. “So I understand and I can separate things. “I am always here to help Marcus as another player. I have to do what I have to do. “They chose to do the interview because it is not just Marcus. I understand that. “For me, as a coach I just focus on the performance and the way you train. “The rest, it is better for me and the club to deal with that when the time comes. “At the moment I focus on improving Marcus – we need a lot in this moment a talented guy like Marcus. “I forget for now the interview, I just now see what I see on the pitch.” Rashford has been linked with possible moves to Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris-Saint-Germain, Barcelona and clubs in Saudi Arabia. However, one club who might not be moving for the England forward are Tottenham Hotspur. Amorim is not the only manager to have had issues with Rashford After Rashford’s comments, Ange Postecoglou was queried about potential interest in the forward – but he quickly shut down any rumours. “No interest, don’t care,” said the Australian coach. “Not interested, he’s a Man United player. A very good player. They’ve got plenty of good players. “I manage my players, I guess other people will manage their players. “But in terms of Marcus’s situation I have no real desire to examine any further.”
