Man Utd Poised to Meet €100M Release Clause for PSG Transfer Target

Several European clubs are keen on Sporting Lisbon’s standout Viktor Gyökeres heading into 2025. Amid the ongoing rumors, one Premier League club could pay the release clause to avoid a bidding war with other interested sides. 

Loïc Tanzi of L’Équipe has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on Gyökeres, with plans to pursue him in the summer of 2025. PSG’s sporting advisor, Luís Campos, has reportedly already contacted the striker’s representatives.

Meanwhile, The Daily Briefing reports that Manchester United are preparing to make a move for Gyökeres. Coach Rúben Amorim—who worked with the striker in Lisbon—is leading the charge.

Nonetheless, the Red Devils are pondering, splashing the cash to ensure they are the club that lands the red-hot goal scorer.
