Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Marcus Rashford out of Manchester United’s squad for several games last month has sparked more rumors about the forward’s future at Old Trafford.
Ben Jacobs from Give Me Sport reports that while Paris Saint-Germain hasn’t made any recent moves for Rashford, the club’s sporting advisor, Luis Campos, is closely monitoring the situation.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has previously engaged with Rashford’s representatives, but further discussions seem unlikely unless the player shows a clear desire to move to Paris. This cautious approach follows Rashford’s five-year contract extension with Manchester United in July 2023.
Jacobs also pointed out that Rashford could be interested in playing in La Liga, with Barcelona reportedly keeping an eye on him. However, financial constraints could make a deal difficult, and a loan move might be the most realistic option—especially if Manchester United agrees to cover a significant portion of his wages.
A significant hurdle in the Marcus Rashford transfer saga
The Guardian reports that AC Milan are among the clubs interested in signing Rashford on loan, but any deal would hinge on Manchester United covering a significant portion of his salary.
