Liverpool set to break loan agreement after former assistant gets sacked

Bajcetic could then be loaned out again for the second half of the campaign. The report adds that Real Betis are in advanced talks over a move with the deal progressing but not yet done. Since moving to Salzburg, Bajcetic has made 18 appearances for the club across all competitions. He previously made 22 first-team appearances for Liverpool, scoring once. The Spanish under-21 international moved to Anfield from Celta Vigo back in 2020. Lijnders signed Bajcetic on loan in the summer before his dismissalAFP Klopp went on to hand Bajcetic his professional debut in the Premier League aged 17 two years later. He is now set to return to Spain with Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis this month. Betis are currently ninth in La Liga after winning six of their 18 league matches. Meanwhile, the club are also still in the Europa Conference League and face a knockout play-off round tie with Gent in Febraury.
