Liverpool, PSG Receive Positive Outlook for £83M-Rated Barcelona Target

Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly monitoring Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia closely.

Contract extension talks between Kvaratskhelia and Napoli have hit a standstill, fueling speculation about a potential transfer in 2025.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG and Barcelona are intensifying their pursuit of the Georgian star, increasing pressure on Napoli to finalize a deal before the summer.

Manchester City are looking to strengthen their attack, particularly on the wings, due to the inconsistent performances of Jack Grealish and Jérémy Doku, according to Fichajes.

The report suggests that City have already contacted the representatives of Kvaratskhelia and consider themselves strong contenders for his signature. Regarded as a “perfect” fit for Pep Guardiola’s system, Kvaratskhelia is valued at £83 million (€100 million).

Napoli chief talks contract extension with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna spoke with Sport Mediaset about the contract talks they’re having with Kvaratskhelia. The club chief’s update on the situation should be good news to the clubs that are keen on the player.

“We saw each other, we talked,” Manna said (h/t Le10Sport). “We don’t want to continue discussing it now; we will do so again at the end of the season because he will still have two years left on his contract by then. We want him to stay focused on the pitch, and we want to reward him.

“On this matter, we are also calm. We meet with all our players’ agents; it was a meeting like many others, and we talked about a lot of things. Mati is having a good season, and we are very happy.”

GIVE ME SPORT reported that Liverpool are still keeping an eye on Kvaratskhelia, with a possible move in 2025 looking realistic. The report also notes that the Reds are hopeful Mohamed Salah will stay at the club, even though his future remains uncertain.
