Liam Payne's Mansion Is Back Up For Rent
The late "Strip That Down" singer's home has been placed on the market barely a month after his harrowing death.
According to TMZ, the house went back up for rent at the end of October for $9,950 per month, showing there's been a slight increase in the rental fee.
Payne and his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, reportedly signed a short-term lease on the property towards the end of the summer so it's most likely the deal has expired.
Located in an exclusive enclave of Wellington, Florida, the stunning property boasts a massive five-bedroom, six-bathroom home and breathtaking views of southern Florida.
Payne and Cassidy showed off the home to their respective followers on socials when they moved in back in September.
Cops Have Charged 3 Suspects In Connection To Liam Payne's Death
Meanwhile, three suspects, including one who worked at the CasaSur Hotel where Payne died, have been charged by the Buenos Aires authorities in connection with the "Both Ways" singer's death, per TMZ.
The first suspect was described as a "friend" who was in Payne's hotel room with him but left him there at some point before he died. That suspect was charged with abandonment of a person before death.
The second suspect is a hotel housekeeper who allegedly delivered drugs to Payne in a soap box. The Dove soap box caught cops' attention when they raided the place, as only housekeeping staff had access to that soap supply within the hotel.
The third suspect is the alleged drug dealer who allegedly delivered drugs to Payne twice on October 14, two days before his death. The alleged dealer and hotel staff are both facing charges for dealing.
Suspect Denies Supplying Drugs To The Singer
According to the Daily Mail, an alleged drug dealer, identified as Brian Nahuel Paiz, recently denied the allegations that he supplied Payne with drugs.
In an interview on Argentinian TV, Paiz discussed his relationship with the former One Direction star, claiming they initially met on October 2 while he worked as a waiter at a restaurant the singer had visited.
After their initial interaction, they exchanged contact information and later arranged a second meeting in Payne's room at a Palermo Hotel.
"I never supplied Liam with drugs. Liam's first contact with me was at my place of work. We swapped details and saw each other later that night. It was all normal," he said.
"I've heard people saying he was taking drugs, but the truth is that when he got to the restaurant where I was working, he was already under the effects of drugs, and he didn't actually eat anything."
Paiz also claimed that after first meeting the singer, he received several Instagram messages from him because "he wanted to take drugs although he had already consumed narcotics."
The Alleged Dealer Said He Never Accepted Money From Liam Payne
The suspected drug dealer went further to share details about their second meetup on October 13, claiming their encounter was "intimate."
"We spent the night together; we consumed drugs because the truth is that something intimate happened," Paiz said about their second meeting at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.
"He wasn't aggressive at all, he behaved really well with me, he was really sweet," Paiz said. "He asked me if I was okay. I've got all the messages where we arranged that second meeting. I haven't erased anything."
Paiz, who has since been fired from his job, claimed that he never "accepted any money" or any other gift despite Payne's offering.
He shared, "I have messages where he's offering me money because he was apparently used to offering money for everything, but I never accepted anything."
Paiz also claimed that Payne gave him some clothes to leave with so he "had a memory of being with" the singer. However, Paiz left them "behind the TV because [he] didn't want to take it."
Liam Payne's Friend Claims He Was 'Preyed On' By Drug Dealers
A close friend of the singer revealed that Payne was on a sobriety journey prior to his trip to Argentina.
"Liam had been clean for weeks. He had been to rehab more than once," the source told the Daily Mail. "He had had treatment in the UK and in California, and he had recently been taken on by a new psychiatrist in Florida. Everyone around Liam hoped that he was on the path to recovery."
However, when Payne traveled to Argentina to renew his USA visa, things quickly spiraled after some dealers at the location "preyed" on him.
The source continued, "Liam was 100 percent sober. But when he checked in at the hotel, at some point, someone there started giving him drugs."
They added, "Liam had tried really hard to get clean, then they preyed on him. These people only care about money. They didn't care about his health."
