Kristin Cavallari Reveals Her New Dating Deal Breaker
On a recent episode of her "Let's Be Honest" podcast, Kristin Cavallari shared thoughts on dating requirements, revealing that she prefers her future boyfriend to have had a vasectomy.
"You wanna know what else is a deal breaker for me? I want someone who's had a vasectomy. I don't have to worry about any of that sh-t," she said.
The 37-year-old reality star, already a mom to Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 8, with her ex-husband Jay Cutler, also mentioned her preference for a partner who is already a dad.
"Ideally, his kids would be a little bit older, so I don't really have to deal with the day-to-day. Because I was like, I can't have a Brady Bunch," she said.
Cavallari emphasized that she doesn't "need a man for anything other than pure happiness."
Having been married to Cutler from 2013 to 2022, she added that she is now at a place where she's financially independent.
"I own my house, I have my kids, and I don't need a man for anything but happiness," she said.
Kristin Cavallari Opens Up About Breakup With Mark Estes: 'He Needs To Experience Life'
Cavallari briefly mentioned her breakup with Estes during her "Unwell" Tour stop in Austin, Texas, on September 28.
A few days later, on her podcast episode from October 1, the "Laguna Beach" alum opened up about her decision to end things with 24-year-old Mark, calling him "the best boyfriend I've ever had."
"I broke up with Mark because I just know long term it's not right," she explained. "It's not because of love lost or something bad happened; no one cheated, no one was mean. No one did anything. Those breakups are always the hardest, I think."
She went on to share her perspective on their age difference.
"I just know long term he needs to experience life," Cavallari said. "He's young. I mean, he is. I started to feel the age a little bit just with life experience. I look back on when I was 24 and how much life has happened for me between then. Those are crucial years; those are formative years. This is when you find yourself, and he needs to be able to do that."
Kristin Cavallari Reflects On Dating Younger Men And Moving Away From Hollywood's Dating Scene
Previously, Cavallari said that she wasn't bothered by the 13-year age difference between her and Estes.
However, in an interview with Bustle, the TV star seemingly changed her tune: "I understand what it looks like from the outside world of, like, yeah, I'm dating a 24-year-old, but no one in my life has been like, 'This is weird.' Everyone's like, 'I get it. It makes sense.'"
Cavallari also admitted she's slowly returning to dating, but she's grown disillusioned with the Hollywood scene.
"People in Hollywood are reaching out, even some big names," she shared. "I'm having people reach out to me right now, and I've had a couple, like, big people in Hollywood reach out to me."
She added: "But there is nothing in me that wants to go out with these people. Whereas three years ago, I would have been like, 'Okay. Yeah.'"
She Said Her 'Next Boyfriend Is Gonna Be Her Next Husband'
Cavallari also opened up about her deal breakers on her podcast, noting that she is done dating people from her DMs.
"I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker, but I am not looking to date anyone in entertainment," she noted. "And, like, I will never date anyone from the DMs ever again because it attracts the wrong type of guy."
The 37-year-old also shared that she remains open to the idea of getting married again, especially as she focuses on finding the right person.
"My next boyfriend is gonna be my next husband. Okay? I'm already putting that out there," Cavallari said, per the Daily Mail. "I can't keep dating. Like, I am dating, but, like, I can't keep doing it."
