Moise Kean has been in tremendous form all season long after leaving Juventus to join Fiorentina. The two sides will collide in the upcoming matchday. The striker discussed his turnaround to Corriere della Sera.

“I had fallen into the darkness in Turin, but I emerged to see the stars again in Florence. Injuries affected me a lot last season. I’ve missed out on many good opportunities, for instance, joining Atletico Madrid. It was a tough year, especially mentally. I was reborn after the transfer. I chose this team because it resembled me, as it’s ambitious, and also for the pride of their fans toward their colors. It’s a passionate city that has had great strikers. Dusan Vlahovic encouraged me to come here.”

Kean lauded Raffaele Palladino.

“He already wanted me at Monza last January, but it wasn’t possible to do the deal. He’s a great person and more than a coach to me.”

The striker doesn’t hold a grudge toward Juventus.

“There’s no ill will on my part. If I hadn’t chosen to join them, I wouldn’t be here today, and I wouldn’t have had this type of career.”

Kean addressed his previous coaches.

“PSG’s Tomas Tuchel was the one that gave me the most. I was shocked by the idea of joining a side with so many champions. He made me debut and prodded me up at halftime after a so-so display. I rewarded him with a brace in the next game. He always believed in me, which is everything for a player and the most beautiful thing in football.”
