Kanye West has reportedly bought a piece of luxury real estate, purchasing a stunning Beverly Hills mansion for a whopping $35 million.
The high-end purchase comes on the heels of his decision to offload his Malibu property, notoriously dubbed a "bomb shelter," at a cut-rate price.
Kanye West has been embroiled in legal trouble with an ex-employee who's accusing him of sexual assault.
Kanye West Snaps Up $35 Million Beverly Hills Mansion
According to TMZ, the "Can't Tell Me Nothing" rapper has snapped up a pricey mansion in the Beverly Park North area, a gated community located in Beverly Hills.
Documents showed that he cuffed out $35 million for the property, which sits on a nearly seven-acre plot of land and boasts 11 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms.
The 20,000-square-foot home also comes with an entertainment pavilion that's connected to the main house and a pool area that looks straight out of a resort. There are also cascading waterfalls that decorate separate pool areas in his backyard, as well as a pool house, a gazebo, and a paddle tennis court.
The deal is said to be an off-market deal, with records showing that he purchased the property under the same LLC that he used to sell his Malibu home last month.
The community has hosted several celebrities over the years, including Mark Wahlberg, Sylvester Stallone, Eddie Murphy, Denzel Washington, Rod Stewart, Justin Bieber, Magic Johnson, Sofia Vergara, Barry Bonds, and Lisa Vanderpump.
Kanye West Sold His 'Bomb Shelter' Mansion In Malibu
West's new real estate property comes three months after he sold his Malibu mansion for about $21 million, which was far less than half the price he originally paid for the home in 2021, per the Daily Mail.
The "Donda" rapper infamously stripped down the sprawling mansion to turn it into a "bomb shelter," stripping it of electricity and plumbing while also removing all windows and doors.
According to the news outlet, one of the workers whom West reportedly hired to work on the project claimed the father-of-four wanted to create a "bomb shelter" and his "Batcave."
The former manager of the remodeling project, Tony Saxon, sued West as he claimed he was fired after he "expressed concerns about the extreme danger" of the project, adding that the rapper "wanted no electricity."
"He only wanted plants. He only wanted candles. He only wanted battery lights. And he just wanted to have everything open and dark," Saxon added.
However, the project was abandoned as it proved to be unrealistic, with the rapper cutting his losses to cash in on it.
The Rapper Was Hit With Sexual Misconduct Allegations
Amid rumors of an impending divorce from his wife Censori, West has been slammed with disturbing allegations from his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta, per the Daily Mail.
In the filing, she detailed her encounter with the rapper, explaining that he stormed into her hotel room at 6 am in July 2021 at the time he and his staff were working on his "Donda" album, wanting to use her bathroom because his "was out of order."
She claimed that she retreated to a separate bedroom of the hotel suite but was joined in later by an almost naked West, who forcefully pushed her onto the bed and climbed on top of her.
"Ye then stepped onto the bed and stood tall, straddling himself over [Pisciotta's] body and looking down on her," the lawsuit claimed. "[Pisciotta], in a shocked state, somewhat braced herself for what might happen next."
The Former Assistant Allegedly Pleaded With Her Boss 'To Stop' Assaulting Her
According to the lawsuit, the rapper assaulted Pisciotta despite her begging him constantly to stop.
"He attempted to forcefully thrust his naked body onto and p-nis into [Pisciotta's] face," the legal document read. "[Pisciotta] started to move her body to get up, pleading with West to stop. West removed his hand from the wall behind the headboard, forcing [Pisciotta] to stay in place."
It also noted that West "ignored Pisciotta's pleas to stop" but later "grew annoyed and tired" of her "objections to him thrusting his p-nis into her face and closed mouth" that only opened when she told him to stop.
The rapper then got off the bed and told her "sorry" and that it wouldn't happen again, then gathered his clothes and left the hotel room.
Kanye West May Be Sued By His Ex-wife Kim Kardashian
Meanwhile, an insider has claimed that West's ex-wife Kim Kardashian is monitoring the situation with Pisciotta and that she may also be forced to sue him over custody.
Rumors have been swirling that West plans to leave the country for Japan, making their already tense custody arrangement more toxic.
"Rumors have been swirling for a while that Kanye intends to relocate to Tokyo and renegotiate his custody terms with Kim because he'll want the kids to travel there frequently once he's settled," a source told In Touch.
The pair share four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, and were each granted "equal access" to all four of them when their divorce was finalized in November 2022.
