That was the one thing I was anxious about—coming over and not knowing anyone. But the guys made it really easy for me. When I first got here, on the very first day, Coby [White] hit me up. Me, him, and Pat [Williams] went out to lunch and got to know each other. We sat there for a couple of hours, just talking and getting to know each other. The guys made the transition really, really smooth. At the time, not everyone was back in Chicago yet, so I slowly started to meet everybody as they rolled through. But the people here—the players, coaches, front office, and everyone around the building—were all unbelievable and very, very welcoming.
