The former Chicago Bulls draft pick is adamant in his desire to be traded.
Multiple reports have shed light on Pat Riley’s feud with Butler.
Riley’s comments about how Butler should keep his mouth shut because he was injured during the playoff series vs. the Boston Celtics didn’t do much to help their case.
This isn’t the first time Riley has had a power struggle with his star player, and those have rarely ended on good terms.
It happened with Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James, and even with Dwyane Wade.
Butler has also had several run-ins with his bosses in the NBA.
The trade deadline is closing in, and it doesn’t seem like there will be an amicable ending to one of the biggest storylines of the season.
