A few months ago, Jimmy Butler said he had lost his joy in playing basketball and wasn’t sure if he could get it back.
After just 13 games with the Golden State Warriors, it sure looks like Butler’s joy has returned.
A new report from Shams Charania revealed that Butler is very happy with his new team and feels it is better than any other organization he has worked for during his 14 years in the league.
“He does feel like this organization is better than any other organization he’s been a part of. But I’m telling you it’s different this time. I haven’t sensed the same feeling he’s had when he went to Philly, when he went to Miami. This is different for Jimmy Butler going to Golden State,” Charania said, per Courtside Buzz.
REPORT: Jimmy Butler reportedly feels like the Golden State Warriors are the best organization he’s ever been a part of, according to Shams Charania.

Charania added that Butler is sticking around for shootarounds more often and is playing in practices and is in the training room too.
He is “going above and beyond to ingratiate himself with the Warriors right now.”
When things were falling apart between him and the Miami Heat, it didn’t seem like Butler would be happy in the NBA ever again.
That clearly isn’t the case and Butler has done great work with the Warriors so far.
He has averaged 17.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists since coming to the Warriors and the team has a 12-1 record since the Butler trade.
Will this turnaround for Butler and the team erase memories of his breakup with the Heat?
That might not happen and Warriors fans may remain worried that he could someday grow tired of Golden State and make things difficult for them.
But that’s not the case right now and the team is currently sixth in the Western Conference.
