The fixture is the first to break new boundaries, providing fans with the opportunity to watch the action for free thanks to a new agreement.  At the start of the season, Sky Sports and ITV announced that they had reached an agreement to show Championship and Carabao Cup fixtures free-to-air.  The deal commenced at the start of this month, with the first leg of the Carabao Cup tie between Arsenal and Newcastle shown for free on January 7.  Now, the Championship is going to take over, with it being an incredibly rare occasion for a second-tier game to be broadcast on terrestrial TV. It was recently confirmed that Leeds vs Sheffield Wednesday would be the first match shown, before Middlesbrough vs Sunderland is also on ITV on Monday, February 3.  A total of five Championship fixtures are scheduled to be broadcast for free in the second half of this season.  As well as that, the second leg of Liverpool’s Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham is also going to be on ITV on February 6. Leeds vs Sheffield Wednesday: How to watch for FREE
