Draymond Green has become one of the most polarizing, controversial, and criticized players in NBA history.
Golden State Warriors fans love him for his fiery play and passionate nature, which has been the catalyst for the team’s success over the years.
However, the rest of the league seems to have different feelings.
Green has been involved in many questionable incidents, to the point that the league has had to suspend him for repeated offenses and seemingly dirty plays.
That’s why he didn’t receive the benefit of the doubt when he clamped his elbow on Zach Edey’s right foot.
Green was on the floor after diving for a loose ball, and he seemingly tried to trip Edey as he looked to sprint to the other side of the court.
The foul was ruled a take foul, but upon further review after the game, the league upgraded it to a Flagrant 1 foul.
Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins was overly critical of Green, stating that he had broken a basketball code.
With that in mind, Green took to Instagram to send him a clear and brief message: Shut up (via Legion Hoops).

Truthfully, this isn’t a great look for Green, who probably should’ve just sat this one out.
He constantly talks about being made an example of, but it’s not like every other player has been caught on tape doing questionable things to his opponents repeatedly.
This has been a pattern for years now.
